The Spring Lake Animal Shelter is commited to:

• sheltering and nurturing lost or abandoned pets while seeking loving caregivers who will provide them with a permanent home.

• being a community educator for the benefit of its pet population.

• funding and maintaining programs dedicated to eliminating the pet overpopulation problem.

• providing support to the pet caregivers of our community.

The Shelter offers services, such as finding homes for adoptable animals, providing shelter for stray animals and offering assistance to owners and finders of lost animals. In addition, the shelter sponsors various community education and outreach programs throughout the year.

In addition to its on-site and field personnel, the shelter is assisted by the efforts of our volunteers who work with the animals in our care and participate in various education and fundraising programs.

We are now doing a kitten adoption special.
To adopt one kitten is $65, this includes a $100 spay/neuter coupon at the vet of your choice, first vaccine, deworming, and test for feline leukemia. Adopt 2 kittens for $100 and this includes a $200 spay/neuter coupon towards both, and first vaccine, deworming, and test for feline leukemia. Local veterinarians also do free health check-ups for pets adopted from the shelter.

“Sponsored pet” adoption program.

Thanks to the local community and business owners, a
”sponsored pet” can be adopted at a reduced adoption fee. A sponsored pet is a pet that came into the shelter, and a very kind person and /or business has donated half of the adoption fee.
